Take It ‘Easy on 30A’ at Upcoming Benefit Concert — July 3

The 4th Annual Easy on 30A Concert, benefiting local charities, will take place July 3, 2015, from 5:45 p.m. to 10 p.m., at WaterColor’s Marina Park.

Forrest Williams Band, The Rips and Geoff McBride will perform. The event includes a raffle and silent auction benefitting Alaqua Animal Refuge, the Lighthouse Family Retreat, and the Muscogee Nation of Florida.

Admission is one can of non-perishable food to be dropped off at the donation box set up at the event entrance. This will be an outdoor event, so plan ahead to bring a blanket or chairs for seating. Coolers and picnics are welcomed, though food and beverages will also be available for purchase. Donations will be gladly accepted at the event and in advance to benefit all of the charities.

“What started out as a small event for friends and family has turned into an amazing community affair with over 1,000 attendees and thousands of dollars raised for our charities,” said founders Beth and Randy Carroll. “We are not at all surprised that 30A has once again rallied together to support their very own, and we are humbled and grateful to all of you making this happen again this year with us.”

Easy on 30A was founded four years ago with an idea of bringing musicians together to highlight the great talent along 30A and to bring community awareness to charities in the area. This is the fourth year that the Easy On 30A Benefit Concerts have supported Alaqua Animal Refuge.
