Tired of the people who fill your timeline with photos at 6 a.m. of them working out, prepping to run a 5K? Us too.

Join us for our 8th Annual East Pass Slacker 0.5K, specifically for those “underachievers” who enjoy cold beer and the shortest walk possible. All proceeds will benefit Road Dogg animal rescue.

Registration table opens at 8am on Saturday, May 24 at the Boathouse Oyster Bar. Get checked in and grab a bloody mary to kick things off right. A shotgun start at 10am will send participants to a variety of stops to participate in drinking activities and raffles.

BEST COSTUME AWARD will be awarded– So bring your A-Game outfit!

Complete all stops and the winner will be a random race number drawn.

Cost is $30 in advance, $35 at the door.
Participants will receive:
– A standard race “number” to be worn during the race
– A sweet participation medal
– T-Shirt
– 2 Drink tickets
– Koozie

Awards ceremony to follow. If you are too big of a slacker to participate, our observer ticket also includes the drink tickets and a T-shirt, where you can offer your moral support.Come out, show your support, and exert as little energy as possible while maintaining your buzz.
