Alissa Moreno was born on a small Navajo reservation and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After a music education and a year in Hawaii writing songs, she moved to Los Angeles, where she quickly gained recognition. Moreno co-wrote the 2008 Grammy-nominated hit “Every Day” for Rascal Flatts with Jeffrey Steele, and her music has been featured in numerous films and TV shows such as “Hope & Faith” and “Army Wives.” Alissa lives in Nashville, Tennessee, is a SAG performer, and has written with and been recorded by well-known artists such as John Oates, Sara Evans, Vince Gill, and Colbie Caillat.
