As the year comes to a close, Surfing Deer is thrilled to announce its highly-anticipated New Year’s Eve celebration. A cherished tradition on scenic 30A, Surfing Deer has become the go-to destination for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve. The event features an exclusive five-course prix fixe dinner menu, including vegan options and curated optional wine pairings. This marks the ninth year in a row that Surfing Deer has hosted its renowned New Year’s Eve celebration, becoming a cherished tradition for locals and visitors alike.
The five-course pre-fixe menu includes incredible options, including those for plant-based guests. Chef Greggory Smith has crafted an all-new menu for the 2024 festivities. A sneak peek of the entire menu includes House Made Dinner Rolls with Pumpkin Butter for the first course and for the second course, guests will have the option of Braised Elk Ravioli or Tempura Battered Cauliflower. Course three will include the choice of French Onion Soup with Beef Short Rib or a Little Gem Salad. For the main event, Chef Gregg is to prepare any of the following: Blackened Red Snapper, Chargrilled Bison Tenderloin, Seared Yellowfin Tuna, or a Creamy Pesto Pappardelle. Finally, for the dessert options, attendees will choose between Pear & Frangipane Tartlet, Chocolate Marquise, or Granny Smith Apple & Cranberry Crisp. The cost of the five-course chef-curated experience is $150.00 per person. There is also an option for a wine pairing for an additional $65.00 per person.
