The Wildlife Specials are an Americana and Rock N’ Roll band.

With 50+ years of touring, recording, and songwriting experience between them, The Wildlife Specials are a unique assortment of talented players who reside in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

After sharing the stage and studio with the likes of Darryl Jones and Bernard Fowler of the Rolling Stones, Widespread Panic, Bob Margolin, Hubert Sumlin, Johnny Shines, Willy Green, Daniel Lanois, Zac Brown, among many others, they unceremoniously ended up in Santa Rosa Beach and decided to form The Wildlife Specials (named after a roadside food vendor in NOLA) for the 30a Songwriters Festival in 2011.

With songs as diverse as their studio and road experiences, the Wildlife Specials never disappoint with engaging audience banter alongside music you can whistle. “If you can’t whistle it, it ain’t music.”
