The luxurious Hotel Effie welcomes guests, locals and their canines to Treatos and Tito’s on Friday, August 25 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in collaboration with Dog-Harmony, a local nonprofit dedicated to reducing the shelter dog population through ongoing humane education. The special event will feature tons of activations including samples and specialty cocktails by Tito’s Vodka for the humans and a treat-catching competition for the pups. Hotel Effie’s onsite restaurant, Ovide, will be serving fresh doggie meals during Saturday and Sunday brunch along with live beats on the patio by a local DJ. Plus all of the treat taste-testing provided by ‘barkeries’ like Doggy Bag, 3 Dogs and a Chick, Sea Dog Barkery, Dog-Harmony and Hot Dog.
Only 30 tickets will be available for purchase for owners and their dogs. An additional 20 tickets will be available for purchase for dog lovers who do not have a dog to bring to the event. All ticket proceeds will go to Dog-Harmony. Parking is available at the Baytowne parking garage or valet at Hotel Effie. If you spend at least $50 at any outlet in Hotel Effie, valet parking will be validated.
