The Northwest Florida Ballet invites dance lovers to enjoy a free performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at WaterColor.This “dance under the stars” performance is sponsored by St. Joe Community Foundation and will feature Northwest Florida Ballet (NFB) company dancers. NFB is home to the nationally acclaimed NFB Academie, an integrated academic and dance education program serving 150 students from the third to eighth grade.

Also on the evening’s program is the neoclassical ballet “Afterglow”, choreographed by Artistic Director Todd Eric Allen, set to the beautiful music “Fantasia on a Theme” by Thomas Tallis composed by Ralph Vaughan Williams. This ballet was originally choreographed for Northwest Florida Ballet in 2001 and is an exploration of shapes and texture.
So bring a chair or sit on the lawn and enjoy a beautiful night of ballet under the stars!
