PicMonkey CollageThe Local Color Artists Club will have works on display at the Coastal Branch Library through November 30.

The display features techniques and mediums including watercolors, acrylics, oils, pastels, batik, encaustics and crash glass. The club, which has members from across the Florida Panhandle, was established in 1997 to talk about and share a love of all types of art.

The club meets monthly and features interesting speakers, demonstrations, information about the artists, art, helpful critiques and problem-solving exercises.

Club members participate in Artist Challenges several times a year during which each person creates their own interpretation of the same theme. The members display and sell their creations, as well as take commission work upon request.

For more info on the Local Artists Club, contact Amy Jo Rosati at 850-678-4813.
