About Alfonso Academy:
The Mission of Alfonso Academy is to foster the growth of individuals through academics and fine arts. Alfonso Academy began with the desire to provide elite dance training to those who seek a professional career in dance or who have the flexibility to work during the day on their passion of dance. It started as a program designed for home school students, blended school programs and online curriculum students to meet in a fostering environment. The Academy has now expanded to also include an Evening Program Curriculum. Keeping to a holistic approach to fine arts education, students are guided in developing confidence, discipline, technical, critical and creative thinking skills, as well as exploring the content of their character. Alfonso Academy has established a team of experienced educators to ensure the fine arts training is taken to a new level of expectations. Community performance opportunities, lessons on audition etiquette, and how to brand yourself in a professional setting are among a few of the vast experiences at Alfonso Academy. The motto at Alfonso Academy is “Defy and Define.” Dance may defy particular confines of the body, but at the same time it defines characteristics within you, your body and your mind.
