Justin Lyons is a self taught contemporary mixed media artist working along the coast of the Florida panhandle. His work is hand constructed and narrative, springing from personal introspection. It aims to give the viewer a reference point into a deeper understanding of a particular theme or subject matter, and to then explore on their own as to what they see and feel. His inspirations are most often triggered by a word, phrase or thought, with the intention to try and tell a story without giving away too much as to let the viewer interpret their own connection to the piece.
