Walton County EM is the OFFICIAL source of emergency notification, warning messages and preparedness tips for Walton County, Florida.

All comments, opinions, advice, statements or other information contained in any messages posted or transmitted by any third party are the responsibility of the author of that message and not that of Walton County.

Walton County will not be held responsible for the views of individuals connected with or otherwise to the Walton County Facebook Page. Walton County reserves the right to monitor and remove any content at any time for any reason at its sole, subjective discretion. Comments, discussion posts, wall posts, and any other user-posted content that is deemed inappropriate by Walton County will be removed from the Page, including false or unverified information. Advertisements posted for anything not sanctioned by Walton County will be deleted. Walton County expects that users will not post materials that fall into the following categories, and will remove postings that are:

(a) abusive, defamatory, derogatory, inflammatory, or obscene;

(b) fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading;

(c) profane or vulgar;

(d) in violation of any law or regulation;

(e) offensive or target or disparage any ethnic, racial, or religious group;

(f) advocates illegal activity; (g) violates any intellectual property right of another;

(h) Spam, off topic content or links to other sites that are:

i. Clearly off topic ii. Promote public or private sector services or products

iii. Endorse a candidate, political organization or platform iv. Infringe on copyrights or trademarks

If, in the opinion of the Walton County monitors judgment, an individual continually posts inappropriate material, Walton County may exercise its right to block that individual from posting content on the Walton County Facebook Page.
