This March, two new restaurants will be moving into the newly renovated Market Shops, located at the entrance to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
Formula Fresh Coffee & Juicery, which currently has a location in Red Fish Village in Blue Mountain Beach, features products for organic and clean eating and drinking. The restaurant will feature coffees, cold pressed juices, superfood smoothies, unique teas, specialty lemonades and more. Orders can be made online with delivery services available within a specified geographic region. Owner and founder Jennifer Gizzi also started The Personal Training Studio of Destin and Atlas Performance in 2009.
DIG, which stands for Dig In Gulf, is a family-friendly, café-style eatery. The menu will offer breakfast, lunch and an early dinner, including fresh salads, sandwiches and protein entrees. Parents will enjoy the convenience of a creative corner for children within the restaurant. The restaurant will also offer cooking lessons and a healthy selection of gourmet ‘Grab and Go’ meals.
The owners are local culinary powerhouse couple, Brian and Monique Murray. Chef Brian’s resume boasts 11 years with Emeril’s Restaurant before moving on to serve as Executive Chef of Watercolor Inn & Resort. Monique’s experience was with Emeril’s Restaurants and Walt Disney World Resort.
