The free 30A iPhone application (also known as an “app”) is an interactive real-time guide to local restaurants, activities and daily events found along Florida’s Scenic Highway 30A in Walton County.
“30A iPhone already has over 2,000 users, and that number just keeps growing as word-of-mouth spreads,” said 30A.com’s Mike Ragsdale. “Locals and visitors alike tell us that they check it every day for dining ideas or to plan their daily activities.”
Ragsdale said that new product is free and features interactive maps, the ability to share restaurant and event info with friends, and 30A.com’s trademark ‘Hot Spot’ lists.
“Using the iPhone’s GPS, you can instantly find the local restaurants that are closest to your precise location,” said Ragsdale. “You can see if they have a live band playing today, you can call them to make reservations, and you can get step-by-step directions from wherever you are right to their doorstep. You can even shake your iPhone to generate random restaurant ideas.”
