A project designed to improve parking in Grayton Beach has begun near the intersection of County Highway 30-A and County Road 283.

The project will provide parallel parking along the north side of 30-A east, just east of the 283 intersection.

Parallel parking and a realigned multi-use path will also be constructed south of the intersection along the west side of County Road 283. A pre-construction meeting took place on December 14, 2016 and construction began on January 2, 2017.

Construction activities are anticipated to take approximately four months. No road closures are anticipated during this project, however there may be limited lane closures. Motorist and pedestrians should use caution while traveling in this area.
