1. What do you like most about living at the beach?

The small community of people, the sunsets, the great food, the music that comes through this area, the combination of arts, culture, cuisine and everything beach is what makes it so special to me!

2. Three favorite local spots?

Hurricane Oyster Bar is probably one of my favorite spots. The staff and cozy beachy atmosphere are a go-to in the afternoon for some raw oysters or dinner out on the porch. 

Grayton Seafood Company is small but mighty. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. I love going in for lunch and catching them on a slow day, bellying up to the bar and running into someone I know. 

I like going to Grayton Beer Brewpub because it has an awesome local feel, great bar scene, and a delicious menu. It’s a great local hangout where I always see a familiar face!

3. Best place for a night out?

Borago is hands down my favorite. It was one of the first date nights my boyfriend and holds a special place in my heart. I can’t resist ordering the meatballs or the diver scallops with the decadent polenta.

4. Most delicious menu item?

I will say that the menu over at Black Bear Bread Co. never ceases to impress me and makes my belly happy. Their team is constantly creating innovative dishes whether it’s a new tartine or their freshly made bread. My go to is the smoked salmon bread! 

5. How do you spend your free time?

I like to meet at The Bay and enjoy the view and get some sushi or Sunday brunch with my buddies.
