Put your best foot forward for a great cause with Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s third annual Wine, Women and Shoes event February 13 and 15, 2015.

As our region’s only fully professional symphony orchestra, Sinfonia is synonymous with presenting high-caliber events and providing much-needed musical educational initiatives throughout the community. This year’s Wine, Women and Shoes will be an extravaganza of wine, food, fashion, shopping (for shoes, of course!), music and much more.

The event kicks off Friday, February 13, with several Vintner Dinners hosted in elegant homes and venues throughout the region. Some of the country’s best vineyards such as Aloft by Mondavi, Arbios, Blackbird, Davis Estates Vineyards, Ferrari Sparkling, Gabrielle, Justin, Charles Krug and Peju, will be pouring wines. Culinary maestros include regional celebrity chefs Tim Creehan of Cuvee Bistro, Jack McGuckin of Bijoux Destin, Nikhil Abuvala of Roux 30A, Todd Misener of Blue Mountain Catering, and Jude Tauzin, Executive Chef for Louisiana-based Tony Chachere.

Patrons can expect an extravaganza of fashion, wine and retail (shoes) shopping, silent and live auction, wine tastings, sole mates (shoe guys), mini-performance by members of the Sinfonia Youth Orchestra, live DJ, delectable hors d’oeuvres and a fashion show from Simply Elegant and Dennis & Company.

535698_492561714164002_1300734048_nNew this year for the guys is ‘The Men’s Room’, that will feature a signature bourbon cocktail, large screen TV’s and selections from Harbor Cigars. All-inclusive tickets are $65 or $100 for VIP reserved table seating and champagne/dessert service during the fashion show.

The Wine Women and Shoes events benefit the organization’s music education programs, which include: musicians/guest artists in schools, free orchestra concerts, bus transportation for students, Sinfonia Youth Orchestras, Arts in Medicine initiative with Sacred Heart Hospital and Link Up concerts in partnership with Carnegie Hall.
