Come out to Destin Commons on Friday, July 3, to celebrate Independence Day early with the Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival.
This popular event, now in its fifth year, will be held from 2 to 10 p.m. Over 20 area restaurants and barbecue aficionados will fire up their grills to vie for the coveted People’s Choice Award. Starting at 5 p.m., grab samples for $1 each with proceeds benefiting Building Homes for Heroes, Children in Crisis and Food For Thought.
The 30A Hut is the official Beer Sponsor for the event, and we’ll have plenty of ice-cold Grayton Beer 30A Beach Blonde on hand. Stop by The 30A Hut or the 30A Gear Truck to pick up your exclusive event t-shirt and peruse our great selection of beach gear and apparel.
Kids’ activities, street performers and continuous live music, including Heritage, The Wide Open and other local favorites, will keep the party going. The evening will end with an Independence Day firework extravaganza.
