SOWAL Jazz Fest 2025: A Weekend of Timeless Music & Modern Soul | Nov 6-8

This November, the heart of South Walton will pulse with the unmistakable rhythms of jazz as the SOWAL Jazz Fest returns with a stellar lineup of world-class talent, soulful tributes, and Gulf Coast groove. From November 6–8, the festival will unfold across four of 30A’s most beloved live music venues, including SOWAL House, Distillery 98, Wild Olives, and Black Bear’s Bar Room, each offering an intimate setting for unforgettable performances.

With a mix-and-match ticket format, guests can customize their perfect weekend, choosing the shows they want to see, when and where they want to see them.

Frank Sinatra Tribute – Josh Sirten and The Velvet Jazz Quartet

Josh Sirten brings the swagger and smooth vocals of Ol’ Blue Eyes to life in a swinging tribute backed by the stellar Velvet Jazz Quartet. From “Fly Me to the Moon” to “My Way,” this performance is pure mid-century cool.

Amy Winehouse Tribute – Teresa Lombardi and The Midnight Muses

Powerful, bold, and deeply soulful, Teresa Lombardi channels Amy Winehouse in a fierce, emotionally rich performance. Backed by the all-female Midnight Muses Quartet, this set reimagines Amy’s biggest hits through a jazz lens.

The Reid Murphy Quartet featuring Melodious Allen, Quintin Ayers, and Bryan Morris

Jazz and funk collide in this high-energy set led by saxophonist Reid Murphy. With reinterpretations of legends like Miles Davis and original compositions that push the genre forward, this performance delivers groove with sophistication.

The Quiet Storm – Bobbie Storm, Wayne Mitchum, and Jimmy Ward

Charleston jazz icon Bobbie Storm headlines a twilight set steeped in Southern soul, joined by longtime collaborators Mitchum and Ward. Elegant, expressive, and unmistakably personal, this performance promises to be a standout.

Billie Holiday Tribute – Sheila Ford and The Velvet Jazz Quartet

With grace and emotional depth, Sheila Ford pays tribute to Billie Holiday in a moving set featuring “Strange Fruit,” “God Bless the Child,” and more—backed once again by the masterful Velvet Jazz Quartet.
