Get ready for the Summer Jam Concert with The Mulligans on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Emerald Coast Conference Center on Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with music and dancing starting at 7 p.m.
It’s the third year that the band is performing at this event, providing top notch entertainment while supporting a charitable cause.
This year, the Mulligans will welcome Pelican212 as the opening act, performing their exciting brand of entertainment. Pelican212 is a band of 8 brothers and sisters that honed their skills playing across the country. Playing tunes from Dixieland to R&B and more, this incredibly talented group recently played at the famed Ryman Theatre in Nashville and has performed at the 2017 Presidential Inauguration Party, competed on America’s Got Talent, appeared on Steve Harvey’s Little Big Shots. They are currently performing with Darci Lynne, the 2017 Winner of America’s Got Talent.
The Mulligans will then take the stage and perform everyone’s favorite dance hits, from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Their diversified song list ranges from Moody Blues to Marshall Tucker Band, Bachman Turner Overdrive to the Eagles, the Beatles and much more! “We are very excited to partner with Pelican212 for this great event. They are very talented vocalists and musicians. This will be a really fun night with a lot of great music. You won’t want to miss this show,” said Mulligans founder, Edwin Watts.
This year, a donation from proceeds will be made in support of A Bed 4 Me Foundation.
A Bed 4 Me Foundation is a nonprofit organization providing beds for children who would otherwise be sleeping on the floor or inadequate spaces.
They serve children ages two to 18 in Okaloosa County that are sleeping on the couch, floor or sharing beds with siblings and parents.
Since beginning the mission, they have provided over 280 children a space to rest, sleep and dream. Learn more about the Foundation here.
