For over 10 years, SunQuest Cruises has been executing local weddings on the SOLARIS yacht in Sandestin with an experienced team of wedding planners and executive chefs.
In addition to planning yacht weddings and receptions, the SunQuest Cruises’ team is now offering wedding planning and catering services for beach ceremonies and off-site receptions.
“If a couple wants to get married on the beach but have their reception on the SOLARIS yacht, it’s easier if they have one local team planning and executing everything to ensure a seamless, stress-free experience,” said James Murray, General Manager for SOLARIS.

SunQuest Cruises’ team of planners and chefs coordinate bridal events on a weekly basis for groups of all sizes, including weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners and bridal brunches. The team has earned a variety of review-based awards for SOLARIS weddings, including the Knot’s ‘Best of Weddings’ award for six consecutive years, the Knot’s Wedding ‘Hall of Fame’, Wedding Wire, Best of the Emerald Coast and Best In Destin.
The expansion of SunQuest Cruises wedding and catering services gives couples more options to customize their dream wedding and offers an all-inclusive, stress-free experience. SunQuest Cruises also has an extensive list of local, trusted wedding vendors and resources, including a variety of accommodations at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
Couples can choose to sink their toes in the sand for a beach wedding and host a reception nearby on the SOLARIS yacht or at a private beach house.
Many options are available for rehearsal dinners, brunches, group activities and other bridal events for groups large or small.
All SunQuest Cruises Beach Wedding Packages include the services of a full-time, experienced wedding planner who can coordinate and execute everything from venues and design consulting to floral arrangements and décor.
Packages also feature officiant, location set-up / clean-up, seating, decorations, floral packages, music and filing of marriage / beach ceremony application. With a variety of venues now offered, the SOLARIS yacht or a beach house can serve as back-up plan in case of inclement weather.
SunQuest Cruises’ Executive Chef and his full-time culinary staff create “art for the palate” with award-winning catering options. Custom menus are created using the Gulf Coast’s freshest ingredients, paying special attention to every step from preparation to a stunning presentation. Special wedding menus feature upscale, contemporary flavors with influences from around the globe. Catering options include formal seated dinner options to passed hors d’oeuvres and appetizers to walk-about chef stations.
