Dream of Building a Home in WaterColor? This May Be Your Last Chance WaterColor Phase 5

If you have dreams of owning a lot and building a new home in WaterColor, Florida, now is potentially your last chance to make that dream a reality.

The final phase of homesite development in the WaterColor community, a neighborhood known as the Park District, has 41 custom homesites — but only 5 lots are still available for sale.

The Park District at the WaterColor community is unique in that it has a focus on primary living and true second homeownership. Homes in the Park District will be restricted from short-term rentals, and homeowners will have access to a private pool. Of course, residents will also get to enjoy all of the existing WaterColor community amenities such as the WaterColor Beach Club, Camp WaterColor, trails, parks, and the beautiful white-sand beaches of Walton County. The development is conveniently located less than a quarter-mile from the WaterColor Crossings Shopping Center and Grayton Beach State Park.

“For many years the WaterColor community has been a very special place for so many people,” said Bridget Precise, Senior Vice President of Residential Real Estate for The St. Joe Company. “What makes this phase so unique is that not only is it the final phase of new homesite development but that it will be rental restricted, creating a neighborhood within the WaterColor community that will not have short-term rentals. In addition, this new neighborhood will feature a residents-only pool offering some privacy for anyone looking to build a custom home to serve as a primary residence or a second home at the beach to experience the unique WaterColor lifestyle.”

When the Park District lots were originally available for purchase over a 48-hour period in October 2020, 26 lots were sold. When the 15 remaining lots were put on sale for a 48-hour period in June, 10 lots were sold.

The five remaining lots are available for sale now on a first-come, first-served basis on the community’s website.

“Once we sell those five lots, that’s it,” said Mike Kerrigan, Corporate Director of Marketing at The St. Joe Company. “WaterColor will be officially closed out. There will be no future developments.” The remaining lots range in price from $925,000 to $995,000.
