The St. Joe Company’s private membership club, Watersound Club, has now opened a massive amenity expansion adjacent to the Camp Creek Golf Course. These new amenities complement existing Watersound Club facilities, including the Watersound Club Beach Club, Camp Creek Golf Course, and Shark’s Tooth Golf Course, and include an expansive health and wellness center with additional swimming pools, a new dining venue, tennis and pickleball courts, and recreation areas.
The wellness and recreation complex includes a 12,000-square-foot Wellness Center, complete with three group exercise rooms, a cardio and strength training area, men’s and women’s steam rooms and saunas, a hot tub, and a 19-meter adults-only lap pool.
Its design incorporates colors that celebrate the richness of Watersound’s natural setting to provide a luxurious space that soothes and invigorates guests.
Adjacent to the Wellness Center, additional new amenities include a huge, family-friendly resort-style pool, complete with a lazy river, slide, and a poolside dining venue named Bark N’ Brine, which will serve Southern barbecue with a health-conscious twist as the perfect accompaniment to the new wellness and recreational complex. The extensive recreational facilities also offer a full-service Tennis and Pickleball Pro Shop, 8 lighted tennis courts, and 8 pickleball courts. Grass fields for sports and recreation, a half basketball court and a teens’ game room are also available.
The final phase of this amenity expansion project is expected to open in the second half of 2023 and will offer Members and guests a world-class clubhouse within a new boutique inn named Camp Creek Inn, along with two additional dining venues.
At the upscale ANR dining venue and the historically named lounge and dining venue, 1936, Members will enjoy pairing beautiful views with the chef’s elevated takes on local cuisine.
Guests of the Camp Creek Inn boutique hotel and Watersound Inn are granted a “Member for a Stay” experience, allowing access to Watersound Club Membership amenities including the new health and wellness facilities, the Watersound Beach Club, and two private golf courses (Camp Creek Golf Course and Shark’s Tooth Golf Course).
