SUNDAY: The Great American Picnic Starring The Shadowboxers

Watersound Origins will host the Great American Picnic, a free, family‐friendly event at Wind Garden Park on Sunday, October 18, from 3 to 7 p.m.

Local favorite Continuum will perform live from 3 to 5 p.m. Then, The Shadowboxers will close out the evening with a set from 5 to 7 p.m.

This year’s event will feature food trucks from around the area, a photo booth, a cornhole tournament, and lawn games.

Please note that coolers are welcome. Alcohol will not be available for sale.

The Great American Picnic will benefit Food for Thought, a non‐profit based in Santa Rosa Beach that provides backpacks filled with healthy, easy‐to‐prepare food for students who are dependent on free or reduced school lunches. It will also benefit Children’s Volunteer Health Network, a local organization that provides mental, dental and medical health care to uninsured school‐aged children in Walton and Okaloosa counties.

COST: The event is free and open to the public.
