It’s been a gorgeous week on the beach. Think early mornings in the mid-70s, light sea-salt breezes and some of our signature fall sunsets.

Early in the week, the Gulf of Mexico was as calm as a lake, but crystal clear. We couldn’t help but capture some video:

An unbelievable view of Draper Lake on Wednesday posted on Twitter.

And speaking of lakes, Camp Creek, one of our rare coastal dune lakes, opened up into the Gulf of Mexico this week, a happening we get to witness a handful of times a year. Our 30A Facebook fan Scott Elder captured it in this video.

Finally, this Instagram post by Chef Jim Shirley was one of my favorite sightings of the week. A hydroplane landed outside his new restaurant, The Bay, to stop in for lunch. Can’t beat the 30A lifestyle. Have a great weekend!
