The four days of festivities along 30A and in South Walton will include a stellar lineup of over 30 featured boutiques and local original designers in runway shows throughout the weekend. Special preview parties and trunk shows will surround the festivities, in addition to a runway show dedicated to chosen Emerging Designer finalists: Cayce Collins, Andi Eaton, Jennifer Nina Evans, Ashlie Ming, Ella Rose and Sarah Winford. These finalists will showcase their designs on the Emerging Designer Runway and a winner will then be selected by a panel of celebrity judges.

The panel of judges includes Cassie McConnell Kelley, author of style blog Womanista.comand wife of Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and Holly Williams, musician, author of the trendsetting blog TheAfternoonOff.com and owner of Nashville boutique H. Audrey. Heather Roop of All My Children will host the week’s festivities.
The Emerging Designer will be awarded a cash prize of $1,500, a custom photo shoot by renowned fashion photographer Hayley Green of Goode and Green Photography and rights to all images, a spread in the November/December issue of fashion and style magazine, viezine.com and a six month-long storefront display in Grand Boulevard’s Town Center at Sandestin.
Notable highlights over the weekend include SHOP the BLOCK, an after-hours shopping experience with Grand Boulevard merchants on Friday from 9-11pm with special discounts and prizes. Pish Posh Patchouli’s will host a “Beauty Bar” for all guests throughout the event weekend at Grand Boulevard for touch-ups from La Bella Donna and Ilia, an all natural organic makeup line, spritzers, boutique fragrances, glosses, lotions and potions.
Tickets are $50 in advance and $65 at the door for Friday and Saturday night with a special weekend pass available for $90 by visiting swfw.org. Advance purchase is recommended.
