Rosemary Beach will kick off the holiday season in grand style the weekend after Thanksgiving.
On Friday, don’t miss the excitement as Rosemary Beach lights up the town with thousands of twinkling lights and holiday decorations. Enjoy musical performances by the Charles Dickens Carolers, see Santa’s big arrival and take a carriage ride through town. The main event starts at 6 p.m. in South Barrett Square.
At 6:30 p.m., the Merchants of Rosemary Beach will host a holiday open house. Visit each merchant for a special evening of holiday shopping and refreshments. The event goes until 9 p.m.
Then, on Saturday morning, bring the kids for Breakfast with Santa at Santa’s workshop in the Town Hall. Enjoy a bagged breakfast and get photos with Santa and other goodies. From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tickets are $15 per child. Adults are free.
After breakfast, head out to explore the Old Town Holiday Market at North Barrett Square and the eastern and western lawns. Forget the hustle and bustle of the mall and browse through booths filled with unique gifts and treats you can’t find anywhere else including hand-crafted jewelry, pottery, painting and holiday decorations. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
And don’t miss out on one of 30A’s favorite holiday traditions, Rosemary Beach’s Fall Bocce Ball Tournament, which is celebrating its tenth year this year. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the tournament beginning at 10 a.m. at the St. Augustine Green.
