Friends of the Coastal Branch Library are pleased to announce their artist for the month of February: Suzanne LeLoup-West.
Suzanne LeLoup-West was born in Washington D.C. and now lives in Ponce De Leon, Florida, on 55 acres in the Euchee Valley with her husband, their rescue dog and cat family.
Suzanne is a self taught artist and has worked in many mediums including watercolor, pen and ink, mixed media and acrylic. Always open to new ventures, she has had the good fortune of acquiring a large number of vintage silk screens formerly used for printing t-shirts. The frames are 40+ years old and have the wonderful patina left by old ink and years of use. Painting on the silk screen has been an amazing adventure.
Her work will be on display at Walton County's Coastal Branch Library in Santa Rosa Beach through February 28.
LeLoup-West is a member of the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, an A+ Art Committee member and member of the Walton County Art League. She currently teaches acrylic painting at Northwest Florida State College, South Walton Center.
Her work has been shown at A+ art shows at Northwest Florida State College, South Walton Center, Santa Rosa beach, Beach Art Group, Panama City Beach, The Walton County Fair, DeFuniak Springs and Lily Pads of Grayton Beach and Niceville.
