Baytowne Gears up for the Summer with Something for Everyone!

Baytowne recently announced upcoming plans for the summer season at The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin, including Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July festivities, and free, evening events.

Kicking off the summer vacation season, The Village of Baytowne Wharf will host free, family-friendly programming on Sunday – Thursday evenings, beginning May 20 and running through August 9.

Sunday Cinema – Guests can watch a movie under the stars beginning at 8 p.m. Movie schedule available now. *No movie on Sunday, May 27th
HydroFlight Monday – Watch two performances from fly-board extraordinaire Ben Merrell at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. over the lagoon. *No shows on Monday, May 28th
Boomin’ Tuesday – Enjoy lawn games and inflatables at 7 p.m., then watch a breathtaking firework show at 9:15 p.m.
Wednesday Night Concert Series –Relax in the summer breeze with live concerts on the lawn from local and regional artists from 7-9p.m. MayJuneJuly, and August concerts schedule available now.
Magic with Captain Davy – Captain Davy hosts two magic shows on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. 

Memorial Day Weekend festivities begin on Saturday, May 26, as Farewell Angelina takes the events plaza stage at 7 p.m.  Named after a haunting Bob Dylan song, Farewell Angelina is an all-female country group with four powerhouse vocalists, dynamic songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists.  Then, on Sunday, May 27, Baytowne Wharf will host free children activities, including face painting with Abrakadoodle, balloon animals from the Fun Connection, and lawn games from 6-9 p.m.Local favorites Coconut Radio will perform their signature Americana, Bluegrass and Blues tunes from 7-9 p.m. Baytowne Wharf will light up the sky above the lagoon with a patriotic firework show at 9:15 p.m. And then on Monday, May 28, veterans from the Sandestin Owners Association will present a special Memorial Day ceremony at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, July 4, Baytowne Wharf will host Red, White, and Baytowne. Beginning at 6 p.m., guest can enjoy free children activities, including face painting and crafts with Abrakadoodle, balloon animals from the Fun Connection, and lawn games. Then at 7 p.m., Donovan Keith will kick off live music on the events plaza stage. Formally of Soul Track Mind, this red-haired, soul-singing entertainer will combine the voice and moves that fans have grown to crave with fresh melodies for a dynamic performance. Then, guests can view the 4th of July fireworks spectacular, choreographed to patriotic melodies, at 9:15 p.m.
