VOTE NOW: Help Chiringo, Seagrove Village Market Win People’s Choice Award

Two 30A restaurants are competing for an AIA Florida People’s Choice Award. Chiringo and Seagrove Village Market are currently in the Top 10.

Let’s show some love and boost these local favorites into first and second place.

The Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects presents a community led design award each year at its conference in south Florida.

“It’s exciting to have two of our designs nominated,” Anthony Vallee, owner of McWhorter Vallee Design, said.

“It’s also fun to see Andy (owner of Chiringo) and George (owner of Seagrove Village Market) compete. We’re up against large-scale commercial buildings, museums and schools. It’s fantastic that two locally-owned restaurants on 30A are in the Top 10.”

Chiringo VS Seagrove Village Market

“Everybody loves a little friendly competition,” George Hartley, owner of Seagrove Village Market, said. “We’d love to see Chiringo come in second, and us first. I think a People’s Choice Award would look nice hanging in the Market, don’t you?”

Andy McKoski, partner of Chiringo, said he was looking forward to having George over to his restaurant.

“It’ll be great. He can enjoy one of our famous cocktails while we toast to Chiringo’s win. We’re good neighbors to all of our 30A friends. I fully support the Seagrove Village Market coming in second place.”

The People’s Choice Award is sponsored by the Florida Foundation for Architecture. Voting ends on or around July 20, 2018.
