The 17th Annual Baytowne Beer Festival returns to The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin for a weekend of hops, music and community spirit, featuring more than 200 domestic and international craft brews, food pairings and live music on the lawn. Festivities begin Friday from 6-8 p.m. with “Beer from Around Here,” a curated tasting of local breweries and Baytowne eateries paired with live music from Duchess. Saturday kicks off with a VIP experience at Landshark Bar & Grill from 1-2 p.m., offering early access, lunch and exclusive brews before the Grand Tasting from 2-5 p.m., where guests can mingle with brewery reps and sample a wide range of lagers, ales and seasonal favorites. Proceeds benefit Fisher House of the Emerald Coast and the Sandestin Foundation for Kids, so every sip supports a great cause. The resort recently debuted an exclusive line of craft beers in partnership with Props Craft Brewery and Lewis Bear Company. The trio, featuring the Coastal Blonde Ale, Daybreak Lager and Pier Pressure IPA, captures the laid-back spirit of the Gulf Coast and is pouring across Sandestin for $7.
