Description

The First Day Hike at Grayton Beach State Park will be a Ranger Guided Walk on the Flatwoods Trail. The walk will begin at the Flatwoods Trail Trailhead on 30A at 10:00 am on Thursday January 1st 2026. This will be a leisurely walk with Park Services Specialist Christopher Dixon and this will be his final First Day Hike before his retirement. First Day Hikes are one of the highlights of Christopher Dixon’s year while working for the Florida Park Service. Wear comfortable walking shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and a water bottle.
