9 a.m. to noon: Morning Block Party
Start your day in Seaside with a full patriotic block party celebrating America’s 250th birthday. The morning begins at 9 a.m. with Emerald Coast Theatre Company performing Ragged Old Flag, the National Anthem and a full patriotic performance, followed by live music from Huck & Lily at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m., the Children’s Patriotic Bike Parade rolls out with a brass band leading the way, and Wild Bill’s Beach Dogs brings the fun with the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest at 11:30 a.m.
7 p.m.: Patriotic Pops Concert + Fireworks
The evening celebration begins with Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s Patriotic Pops Concert at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks over Seaside at 8:30 p.m. This is one of the biggest Fourth of July draws on 30A, so arrive early, expect crowds and don’t miss the sunset before the sky lights up.
Expect people: Big crowds, high energy and all-day momentum. It’s one of the busiest scenes in Seaside, and super fun, just not low-key.
Don’t miss this: Sunset hits right before the fireworks, so don’t rush past it. It’s one of the best parts of the day here.
After party: Keep expectations realistic, most places will be packed. A late beach walk or a relaxed bike ride home with fun lights may be the better move.
