Welcome to the Florida Chautauqua Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit established in 1993 to revive the historic Florida Chautauqua Assemblies held in DeFuniak Springs from 1885 to 1927. Transitioning to the Florida Chautauqua Association, Inc. in 2013, we honor the name of the original organization. Join us as we continue to promote education, cultural enrichment, and community engagement, carrying forward the spirit of the Chautauqua movement into the modern era.
