New York playwright Rich Orloff, continues to entertain audiences with his play, Romantic Fools, at Seaside Repertory Theatre’s main stage this Fall.

The show opens on October 2nd at 7:30 p.m. with additional performances on October 2-4, 10-12, 16-19 and 23-25.

Directed by Bruce Collier, Romantic Fools stars Meghan Bode and Alan Daugherty in 12 two-character comedic sketches examining love, lust, dating, and romance — from a date with a caveman (Find Me a Primitive Man) to the joys of dull sex (One Man’s Secret Desire) to the surprise frustrations of having a perfect mate (The Stepford Guy).

With influences of Monty Python, Saturday Night Live, Jules Feiffer, the Marx Brothers, and classic vaudeville comedy, these sketches vary in style but all celebrate the inherent comedy of male-female relationships. Sponsors for this season include Pizitz Home & Cottage, Silver Sands Premium Outlets and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin.
