Savor the Season: Fall Flavors and Football Fun at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar

By: Carrie Honaker | Posted Oct 18, 2023

Even though the weather still feels sweltery, we’re thinking Fall thoughts and that means new flavors, a slew of games to watch, and seasonal cocktails to sip.

At Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar the temperatures may still be in the 80s, but they are channeling Autumn vibes with a new Fall menu and enough televisions to watch whichever football game you have on the schedule, all while checking out one of the best views on 30A.

Look for popular Fall favorites back on the menu, as well as new spins on a couple of classics. Don’t miss their award-winning Chipotle BBQ Oysters, roasted with Maker’s Mark Bourbon, chipotle lime butter, and a bit of brown sugar for sweetness. Or enjoy their classic Crab Bisque made with lump blue crab, roasted corn, sherry, cream, butter, and seafood stock. The number one football-watching food is back: crispy chicken wings!

If you’re hanging out for dinner, don’t miss the Fall Gulf Grouper with its comforting bean cassoulet or the smoked bone-in pork loin with a sweet potato mash, roasted baby carrots, demi glace and apple salad—Autumn on a plate.

Seasonal cocktails and an updated wine list round out the experience. The Lazy Afternoon with its mix of Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum, pomegranate, lime, and lemonade will ease you into Fall.
