One of the best ways to travel around 30A is by bike, and one of the best ways to recharge after a day cruising down 30A is a sweet treat from The Sugar Shak in Rosemary Beach. Stop in for ice cream, candy galore, and more!
3. Mr. Freeze – The Hub
Mr. Freeze has got you covered for all your ice cream needs! Ice cream cones, shakes, plenty of yummy toppings, and penny candy to bring back memories of your childhood.
4. Kahve & Cream – Seagrove
Kahve & Cream is perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up. Grab a dose of caffeine with an espresso float, one of their perfectly blended cold brew coffees, a doughnut (while they last!), or a scoop or two of one of their variety of flavors.
5. Heavenly’s Shortcakes & Ice Cream – Seaside
You’ll love the selection of delicious gelato, ice cream, and more. Grab a cup or a cone and stroll around Seaside with the whole family. You won’t want to skip their chocolate-covered Key Lime pie on a stick either!
6. Dawson’s Yogurt and Fudge Works – Seaside
Looking for the classic ice cream parlor aesthetic? Then, Dawson’s Yogurt and Fudge Works is the right spot for you. It is believed that Dawson’s Yogurt in Seaside holds the longest record for a yogurt shop open for business and remaining in its original location in the entire country.
7. The Candy Bar – Watercolor
Famous for their over-the-top candy creations, The Candy Bar also serves up ice cream including their special creations like The Blob.
The Blob is a “ginormous” ball of ice cream rolled in sprinkles, served in a frozen chocolate dipped sweet dish, and only a limited supply are served daily.

8. Candymaker Candy Store – Grayton Beach
The Candymaker’s newest location is now open in Grayton Beach serving gourmet ice cream and popsicles. Enjoy handmade treats, super premium Bassetts Ice Cream, and Pop Brothers artisan ice pops.
9. Grayt Scoops – Grayton Beach
Located among the art and photo galleries in The Shops of Grayton, Grayt Scoops is the perfect treat all year long. Pick your favorite flavors or enjoy a shaved ice while finding your new favorite 30A artist.
10. Blue Mountain Beach Creamery – Blue Mountain Beach
Another long-standing family operation along 30A, Blue Mountain Beach Creamery opened its doors over 20 years ago and has been serving locals and visitors alike since! Come early for Charlie’s Doughnuts (till they run out) and make sure you bring a few dollars – they’re cash only. If there’s a line – don’t worry, it’s worth the wait and gives you time to leave your mark on their chalk wall!
11. Buddy’s Ice Cream – Santa Rosa Beach
Walk up to the Buddy’s Ice Cream window and pick from their 32 flavors.
Enjoy huge scoops and you can even rent some bikes or pick up some beach gear while you’re there.
12. Sunrise Ice Cream & Candy – Gulf Place
Local favorite, Sunrise Coffee Co. has expanded their operation and have recently opened Sunrise Ice & Candy just a few doors down from the coffee shop in Gulf Place. Stop in for ice cream, candy, shakes, and stay awhile to play some arcade games. Perfect to escape the elements outside and enjoy a sweet treat and some fun & games!

This family-owned operation has created a signature line of ice cream from only the best ingredients.
