Greenway Station: Seagrove Beach’s Vibrant Hub for Shopping, Dining, and Relaxation

The next chapter in Seagrove Beach's history is here. Let's go!

Greenway Station: Seagrove Beach’s Vibrant Hub for Shopping, Dining, and Relaxation

A new hub has opened on 30A right in the heart of Seagrove Beach. Greenway Station offers upscale shopping, unique dining options, and lodging that blends the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape with modern amenities, all within a walkable space.

Located on 30A, this vibrant destination offers convenient access to the Gulf of Mexico, Point Washington State Forest, and the scenic Timpoochee Trail.

Look out for a charming collection of small businesses, restaurants, and coffee shops, offering a delightful blend of leisure and convenience.

Here’s how you can unwind in style at at Seagrove Beach’s newest hub:

DINING

Turbo Coffee

They started as an espresso bar in the back of a barber shop in Florence, Alabama. Then they found their own space and incorporated food they enjoyed eating like avocado toast, and homemade pastries. Now they are coming to 30A this summer. The signage is up and work is moving along inside.

“I always tell people, it’s kind of a cliche, but we’re really in the people business. We get to serve people every day. We get to impact somebody daily, and that’s really cool,” said Reese Shirey, Turbo Coffee Owner.

Shirey likes to start his day with one of their cold brews. “I drink cold brew 365 days a year. Every coffee shop does cold brew, but we’ve really focused on developing an excellent recipe that’s consistently good. I love to have that with our avocado toast with an egg on sourdough, or the acai bowl with whey protein, peanut butter, blueberries, and homemade granola—it’s awesome,” Shirey added.

Sounds like the perfect breakfast spot for Lodge 30A guests!

The Salty Butcher

Yes, we have plenty of fresh Gulf seafood, but when you’re looking for high-quality meats, they are a little scarce. The crew at The Salty Butcher remedies that with their old-school butcher shop with onsite meat masters ready to slice your cuts to order. And one of the partners, Aubrey Craig, offers his certified sommelier skills to help guests pair meats with the perfect bottle.

Craig (you know him from Driftwood Wine and Spirits in Watercolor) and partners Harrison Holditch (hello Distillery 98) and Chef Stephen Bucalo (the man behind Macho Taco Cantina) found inspiration in those little sandwich shops in Italy and France where you walk up to the counter, talk to your butcher, and leave with high-quality cheese, meat, and bread for a delicious lunch. They offer specialty cuts of beef, chicken, and pork that come from farms they know and can trace, but they also want to be, “…the spot to grab a good quick lunch, that’s not too expensive. We decided if we were going to do this butcher shop, we should also use the cheese and charcuterie meats that we’re going to be selling retail and make sandwiches that people could grab to take down to the beach, or back to the office in Seagrove,” said Craig.

The Salty Butcher is already a neighborhood outpost for retail wine, specialty cuts of meat, cheeses (local and global), charcuterie boards, and selective ingredients from around the world. Holditch elaborated, “The goal is for you to be able to make an entire meal from the store. Obviously, it’s not a place where you do your entire week’s grocery shopping, but if you’re just coming into town or want to have a quick steak dinner, you’ll be able to grab fresh produce, pasta, sauces, spices, and everything you need to prepare an entire meal in the store.”

Canopy Road Cafe

The sign is up and soon the breakfast and lunch hotspot will be open for business serving the great food with innovative twists they have become known for in Inlet Beach. Don’t miss a stack of their Cinnamon Toast Crunch pancakes (or any of their cereal-inspired specialties) or their fluffy buttermilk biscuits smothered with creamy sausage gravy for breakfast. For lunch, they’ll be serving their juicy Black Angus burgers, sandwiches like the Nashville Hot Chicken, and salads chocked full of farm-fresh produce. At Canopy Road Cafe, they have something for everybody.

Wild Olives

There’s brown paper on the windows and a building permit revealing the new home for Wild Olives at Greenway Station. When this local favorite shuttered the Rosemary Beach eatery, a great outcry came from the community. The social media accounts have been afire with excitement. The new menu will feature fresh local seafood, Joyce Farms chicken, organic grass-fed meats, organic produce, and a plant-based menu section. Look for Chef Chris & his team to bring an exciting wine selection, craft cocktails, and the delicious foods they’ve always been known for.

Pecan Jacks

If your sweet tooth is aching, this beloved 30A sweet shop has your fix. Southern pralines, brittles, and chocolates line up alongside ice cream flavors that reinvent old classics like Banana Pudding and adult alternatives like Kahlua Espresso. And the shop is everything you expect from a dessert-lovers paradise. Turquoise shelves line the walls stocked with jars filled with all manner of loose candy like sour worms, gummy bears, and silly bananas. A case sits adjacent to the cash register elegantly lined with their homemade chocolate, and across the shop sits ice cream central. Tubs upon tubs of simple concoctions like butter pecan to boozy alternatives like the mudslide await scooping…and there are homemade waffle cones for nestling those delicious scoops. Plus you can grab a pint to go from their cooler if you want to enjoy your favorite flavor while relaxing at home.

Local Cantina

The popular Columbus Ohio Mexican restaurant where everything is made fresh daily, is also bringing an outpost to the beach. Construction is underway and the permit is up. Look for innovative takes on tacos, burritos, and bowls alongside more traditional plates.

SHOPPING

An eclectic mix of boutique shopping abounds at Greenway Station. From decor for your home to unique souvenirs, to that perfect bohemian sundress for dinner out, to a bike rental for the day, it can be found here.

YOLO Board and Bike

Anchoring one end of Greenway Station, the newest YOLO Board location has a large selection of the beloved stand-up paddle boards and beach cruiser bikes for rent that visitors and residents have come to associate with life on 30A.

Whether you’re looking for the ultimate fishing platform, want to book a safari ride tour, or need a bag of some of the best coffee around, you’ll find it here. Their popular t-shirts line the walls, baskets overflow with hats and stickers, and their UPF shirts offer breathability and performance. There’s kids’ stuff, coozies, and sale items to satisfy all your beach weekend needs.

With a conviction that the South is a state of mind, not a location, it won’t be hard to find the perfect memento here. They carry clothing for every occasion from dinner out to a day at the beach. The store has tables overflowing with signature Southern Tide polo shirts and shorts, racks of easy dresses and tank tops, and dressier shirts with beach-inspired patterns for men and women.

Also on full display are items from their partnership with Lilly Pulitzer with iconic bold colors and exuberant patterns. Between swim trunks, dresses, t-shirts, and button-downs, there are plenty of selections for the little ones as well. And you can feel good about your purchase with their “Reclaim the Tide” program—they produce timeless, long-lasting fashion crafted from responsibly-sourced organic and recycled materials to help reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact.

Free People

The destination for bohemian fashion for women, Free People features vintage looks and the hottest trends in its beautiful boutique at Greenway Station. Shoppers are welcomed into an expansive space that feels as airy as the beach community it now calls home.

Racks, tables, and walls are filled with a wide range of apparel inspired by art, music, and travel that showcase free-spirited femininity and creative design. They have a generous amount of stock to peruse and even have a sale room in the back.

Linen and Sand

Inspired by global travel, coastal living, and the natural world, their goal is to, “… help you create a home that reflects a life well lived and a life you love.” Designer-curated collections are filled with artisan products from small studios across the globe inspired by their ethos of “…finding beauty in the perfectly imperfect and honoring natural materials and the tradition of craftsmanship.”

From the shoreline nesting bowls, to the driftwood sculptures, to the seagrass baskets, to the selection of luxury apothecary products, Linen & Sand has the perfect pieces to freshen up a space or outfit a new home. And if you forgot your beach gear, they’ve got you covered with bohemian sarongs, rattan sandals, and expansive handwoven totes.

Jonah Allen Studio & Gallery

A lone figure with shoulder-length hair and surfer-tanned skin leaning against the newly opened gallery in Seagrove Beach on Florida’s Scenic Byway 30A welcomes visitors into his space. With its soft music, cool air conditioning, and images that place you right in the waters of 30A, Jonah Allen’s studio has museum-level vibes.

His large-scale environmental photography can be seen on walls all over 30A (including The Lodge 30A), but now his new gallery space in Greenway Station is open. “This is the next progression in my evolution as an artist. There will be new pieces, my newly-released book Where Waters Meet (an aerial journey of 30A), and some smaller items for purchase,” said Allen.

Naples Soap Company

The inviting scent draws you in at the latest Naples Soap Company outpost. There are hair bars, bath bombs, moisturizer sticks, and more. Their high-quality hair and skin care products are crafted from natural and organic ingredients.
