Along Florida’s scenic Highway 30A, the Fourth of July is more than a holiday. It is a full-day coastal tradition, filled with bike parades, patriotic performances, donut contests, beachside concerts, rooftop parties and fireworks lighting up the summer sky. In 2026, as America marks its 250th birthday, each 30A community brings its own version of red, white and blue fun, from small-town charm and family field days to big, high-energy celebrations by the Gulf.

Start the patriotic fun early in Rosemary Beach with bike decorating and breakfast in North Barrett Square at 7:30 a.m., followed by an 8:30 a.m. bike parade and block party on the Western Green. Families can enjoy Kona Ice, face painting, balloon art, cotton candy and more as the town rolls into Independence Day week.

Ease into Fourth of July week with a patriotic evening of live music at Grand Boulevard’s Bands on the BLVD finale from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Emerald Coast Theatre Company presents America Salutes, a musical celebration honoring 250 years of freedom.

Celebrate the holiday early in WaterColor with bike and wagon decorating at Cerulean Park at 10 a.m., followed by a kids’ parade and family activities at Marina Park. Open to everyone, it’s a relaxed, picture-perfect way for little ones to join the Independence Day festivities.

Grayton Beach keeps the Fourth real with an 8:30 a.m. parade that’s part tradition, part cheerful chaos. Decorated golf carts, bikes, Jeeps, kids and dogs roll through town near The Red Bar, followed by brunch, music or a laid-back beach picnic.

Alys Beach marks Independence Day and America’s 250th birthday with its beloved Donut Eating Contest at 9 a.m. in the Amphitheatre. Kids, youth and adults can compete or cheer from the sidelines during a festive morning of handmade donuts, friendly competition and holiday fun.

Seaside’s Fourth of July block party begins at 9 a.m. with Emerald Coast Theatre Company performing Ragged Old Flag, the National Anthem and a full patriotic performance, followed by live music from Huck & Lily at 10 a.m. The celebration continues with a Children’s Patriotic Bike Parade led by a brass band at 11 a.m., then Wild Bill’s Beach Dogs hosts the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest at 11:30 a.m.
Keep the Fourth going in Seaside with live music on Krier Plaza from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a relaxed afternoon bridge between the morning block party and the evening Pops concert and fireworks.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf brings the holiday energy from 6 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. with live music from Saltwater Revival, kids’ activities, patriotic crafts and a festive village atmosphere. The evening wraps with fireworks over the lagoon at 9:15 p.m.

Alys Beach closes out Independence Day with live music from Five Star Funk Lounge at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9 p.m. Bring blankets or low-back chairs and settle in for a polished, family-friendly evening on the Amphitheatre lawn.
Seaside’s evening celebration begins with Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s Patriotic Pops Concert at 7 p.m., followed by fireworks over Seaside at 8:30 p.m. It’s one of 30A’s biggest Independence Day gatherings, with a full-day build-up and a classic Gulf-side finale.

Ara Rooftop Pool & Lounge brings Fourth of July weekend above it all with live DJs, festive cocktails and panoramic Emerald Coast views. The celebration runs July 3 and July 4, with rooftop fireworks viewing at 9 p.m.
