Halloween is a favorite holiday in South Walton and there are plenty of events this year from family-friendly festivals to crazy, adults-only costume parties.

Thursday, October 24
6:30 pm: Free movie screening at The Village of Baytowne Wharf
Grab your lawn chairs and head out to enjoy the movie Hocus Pocus that’s sure to put you in the Halloween spirit!
Friday, October 25
5 pm – 9 pm: Halloween Dance Party, Trick O’ Treatin’ & More at The Hub
Join in for a lot of Halloween fun at The Hub: Trick or Treating will begin at 5 p.m. while Pumpkin Decorating ($5/person) will go on from 5-7 p.m. After that, the place will turn into a big Dance Party with DJ Whitty playing cool tunes. For more info, click here.

9 p.m.: Halloween Costume Contest at AJ’s Grayton Beach

9 p.m. – 2 a.m.: Halloween Bash at Louis Louis
Michael Disciple will be DJ’ing, the drinks will be flowing, and there will, of course, be a costume contest! So come dressed in your best, and be ready to party!
Thursday, October 31
7 a.m.: Witches of South Walton Ride at Gulf Place
The Witches of South Walton is an organization dedicated to supporting the Children’s Volunteer Health Network (CVHN) as part of that mission will host the 16th Annual Witch Ride on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Ticket cost is $50.00 and include charity bike ride from Gulf Place to Stinky’s Fish Camp with Mimosa Brunch following the bike ride. Find more information online here.
11 a.m. – 9 p.m.: Halloween Special at AJ’s Grayton Beach
Kids in costume eat FREE anytime on December 31! Stop by for lunch or an early dinner before taking the kids trick-or treating.
4 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Halloween on the BOOlevard at Grand Boulevard
For this fun event at Grand Boulevard, children are invited to dress in their ghoulish best for trick or treating at the various merchants and in the town center.
4 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Trick Or Treat Seaside at Downtown Seaside
Enjoy live music, spooky stories from the Rep, face painting, and trick or treating around town with our scary Seaside Merchants. The fun will take place from 4-6 p.m. at Downtown Seaside.
5 p.m. – 10 p.m.: 6th Annual Halloween Zombie Stomp at The Bay
Adults are invited to join the costume contest during the night anytime from 7-10 PM. The winner of the costume contest will take home $500. There will also be second and third place prizes. The judges will announce all the winners around 10 PM (must be present to win). Guests will dance the night away on the beach with DJ 30A and hop in the photo booth to commemorate the scariest night of the year.
6 p.m. – 8 p.m.: Trick or Treat Street at Baytowne Wharf Events Plaza
The public is invited to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a fun night of trick or treating! Attendants will stroll through the Village streets in their spookiest costume and visit merchants for treats. Steve Hall will play music on the main stage, and Coconut Kidz will be offering a free face painting and entry into a costume contest. The night will end with a firework display at 8 p.m.
6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Monster Mash & Costume Party at FOOW – Fish Out of Water
This spooky dinner will feature deliciously ghoul-inspired food, such as bone marrow and other mouthwatering delights. An adults-only costume party will provide guests with the chance to play pretend as they spook about sipping Halloween-inspired cocktails and munching on frightening fare. Cost is $75 per person* and includes fun fare and a bone-chilling cocktail. Reservations are preferred by calling 850-534-5050.
7 p.m. – 9 p.m.: Trivia Night: Boos & Booze at Grayton Beer Brewpub
Grab your ghouls and goblins to join in at the Pub for the Boos & Booze themed Trivia Night. Come in costume and compete against other teams of 6. Along with prizes for winning teams, we will be awarding prizes for best costumes! This event is kid-friendly.
7 – 10 p.m.: Halloween Dance Party at Stinky’s Bait Shack
Costume contest, drink specials and live music by Forrest Williams – this is going to be one heck of a party!
7 – 10 p.m.: Rocky Horror Picture Show Halloween at Redd’s Fuelling Station
Redd keeps it fun for the seventh year in a row! Costume prizes and best all-around costumes plus Rocky Horror Picture Show!
7 – 10 p.m.: SOLARIS Halloween Dinner Cruise at SunQuest Cruises

4 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Inaugural Día de los Muertos Fiesta at North Beach Tortilla Co.
North Beach Tortilla Co. will host their first ever Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) fiesta. This event will feature live music, food and drink specials, and games on the beach. Dance, drink and eat as you honor loved ones who have passed away.
