The fall event calendar is bursting with music festivals, art shows, charity rides, bonfires, and so much more. Here’s why it might just be the best time to discover the magic of 30A.
Labor Day may mark the unofficial end of summer, but along 30A, it signals the start of something even better. A beach bonfire may be the most underrated 30A experience of all. With cooler evenings and quiet stretches of sand, fall is the perfect time to cozy up by the fire with family and friends. Local vendors can handle everything, including permits, chairs, firewood, even s’mores kits, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy. If you’re going DIY, make sure to secure a $50 permit through the South Walton Fire District. Fines for unpermitted fires are steep, so it’s best to go the safe (and legal) route. Learn more at 30A.com.
From beer festivals to beach bonfires, film screenings to half marathons, October and November bring a fresh kind of magic to 30A. The air is cooler, the sunsets are brighter, and the calendar is full of unforgettable ways to experience the coast. Whether you’re planning a quiet getaway or chasing one great event after another, this is the season that locals live for, and visitors never forget.
