Check out our list of fun things to do this weekend as we say goodbye to 2019:

1. Rock till the Drop Winter Fest: Sunday, December 29 to Tuesday, December 31 – 8 p.m.

Starting the day after Christmas, Old Florida Fish House is hosting LIVE music every night leading up to the grand finale on New Year’s Eve. Here are some upcoming performances:

12/31 – New Years Eve with Forrest Williams

2. Mixology Series | Ringing in the FOOW Year: Monday, December 30
3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Sip, sip, hooray! Come, learn how to put on fun twists on the bubbly to make your New Year’s Eve celebration the talk of the town. Open to the public; $30++ per person includes tastings, cocktails and bar snacks; ages 21+ only. Reservations required (call 850.534.5050).

3. New Year’s Eve Dinner: Tuesday, December 31st, 4 p.m.

Join in for dinner before you watch the Fireworks in Baytowne to start the new year! Call the restaurant for reservations 850-347-5060.

4. Four-course New Years Special Dinner: Tuesday, December 31st, 5 – 10 p.m.

Enjoy a four-course prix fixe dinner for $119 complete with a complimentary glass of bubbles for a toast. Stop by the Photo Booth, then join in for a free cigar on The Roof where you’ll be able to see fireworks and views of 30-A.

5. Jazz Soirée and Dinner: Tuesday, December 31st, 5 – 9 p.m.

Ring in 2020 with a swanky jazz soirée and three-course dinner overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and toasting with friends. Enjoy live music on the rooftop by Jamah Terry from 9:00 – 12:30. Visit rooftop30a.com for info and to make a reservation.

6. New Year’s Eve 2020 Celebration: Tuesday, December 31st, 5 p.m.

You’re invited to the party at the New Year’s Eve 2020 Celebration, December 31st at Tim Creehan’s Cuvee 30A at 30Avenue. Click here to check out the menu. Reservations are recommended.

7. New Year’s Eve Dinner: Tuesday, December 31st, 5 p.m.

Chef Josh Smith of Edward’s in Rosemary Beach has put together an incredible menu for New Year’s Eve 2019. The five-course menu features options for all palates. Reservations can be made by calling 850-231-8550 and are highly recommended. There will be live music by Jarret Kinder; 9 pm -12:30 am (American Idol and The Voice Alumni) Shelbi Z, Janelle Frost and Band.

8. New Year’s Eve Dinner: Tuesday, December 31st, 5 – 11 p.m.

Celebrate your last meal of 2019 at Havana Beach Bar & Grill with a special 3-course menu. (Note: Regular menu will not be available). Enjoy live entertainment and champagne service. Open to the public; $125++ per adult and $75++ per child (12 and under). Reservations required (call 850.588.2882).

9. Salute 2019: Tuesday, December 31st, 5 – 7 p.m.

Salute 2019 at NEAT before you ring in the New Year with live music and light fare! Cocktails will be available for purchase.

10. Baytowne Countdown: Tuesday, December 31st, 6 p.m.

You don’t want to miss The Village of Baytowne Wharf’s end-of-the-year celebration! Enjoy the family-friendly evening from 6-8 pm with face painting, kids activities, and LIVE music on the Baytowne LIVE stage, finishing off with a fireworks display at 8 pm. Ring in the New Year with an evening to remember, with TWO breathtaking fireworks displays at 8 pm & midnight. Dance the night away with LIVE music until 1 am, featured on the Events Plaza Stage.

11. New Year’s Eve Dinner by Chef Camille Withall: Tuesday, December 31st, 6 p.m.

George’s at Alys Beach is currently taking reservations for a New Year’s Eve four-course dinner at the popular restaurant. There are four seatings that night, but they will book fast. The menu, created by Chef Camille Withall, features diverse first and second course options and main dishes including a seafood bowl, Wagyu filet, lamb rack and roasted half poulet. Your last meal of the year will be divine if you have it at George’s.

12. New Year’s Eve Dinner: Tuesday, December 31st, 6 pm & 9 pm

Marlin Grill will celebrate 2020 with an elegant New Year’s Eve Dinner with two seatings at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Diners will enjoy a four-course dinner menu while surrounded by extravagant holiday décor throughout the restaurant. Reservations are required and the price for the 6 p.m. dinner is $109 per person while the 9 p.m. dinner is $129 per person. Call (850) 351-1990 to book.

13. New Year’s Eve Family Ball Drop: Tuesday, December 31st, 7 – 7:30 p.m.

Join in the fun on the lawn at the Hub for an early New Year’s Eve countdown for the kiddos with a beach ball drop! Ball drop will be at 7 pm. Bowl games will also be playing on the Jumbotron throughout the day!

14. Gatsby New Year’s Eve Party: Tuesday, December 31st, 8 p.m.

Come on, old sport, to Farm & Fire and ring in 2020 in style. Tickets are $75 and include dinner, a champagne toast at midnight, a DJ, a photo booth and more. DJ Brian will get the party started and keep the dance floor packed all night. Epic photo booth will be there to capture those swanky moments you want to hold on to forever. Roaring 20s attire or black tie optional. Cash bar. Just look for the green light across the bay. Tickets are available for purchase online.

15. New Year’s Eve Fireworks, Dinner & Dancing Cruise: Tuesday, December 31st, 8 p.m.

Ring in the new decade in true Emerald Coast style and on the water. SunQuest Cruises is hosting its annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks, Dinner and Dancing Cruise on the SOLARIS yacht. Guests will embark on a memorable evening that includes a five-course seated dinner, live entertainment, fireworks, party favors and champagne. All guests over the age of 21 are welcome to attend. 16. New Year Celebration: Tuesday, December 31st, 9 p.m.

Ring in the new decade at AJ’s Grayton Beach! Enjoy live music by Luke Langford Band and DJ 30A, party favors, and a FREE champagne toast! The best part – NO COVER!

17. New Years Eve Party / Forrest Williams Band: Tuesday, December 31st, 9:30 p.m.

Bid adieu to 2019 with a New Year’s Eve Party with the Forrest Williams Band at 8 pm. Get your tickets online!

18. New Year’s Day Brunch: Wednesday, January 1st, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Gathering Spot is providing the ideal post-NYE cure-all with a special New Year’s Day Brunch, featuring an array of food stations showcasing traditional Southern dishes. Hand-crafted Bloody Marys, mimosas and screwdrivers will also be available to keep the New Year’s festivities going, coupled with live music. Open to the public. $32 (taxes extra) per person. Reservations not needed.

The fun doesn’t need to stop on December 31st! We have some exciting options for you to kick-off 2020:

19. First Day Hike – 9 A.M. & 2 P.M.: Wednesday,  January 1, 2020 from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m or 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Start working on your new year’s health goals the right way with a rejuvenating hike! Wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes, bring water bottle, hat and sunscreen. The program is free with paid park admission.

20. South Walton Fire District‘s Polar Bear Plunge: Wednesday, January 1
1 p.m.

Kick the year off right with the South Walton Fire District‘s Polar Bear Plunge. Registration will be open On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar. Come dressed in your best and qualify for a prize for best costume. Winners will be announced at the Shunk Gulley stage at 12:15 p.m. The plunge will start promptly at 1 p.m. at Ed Walline Regional Beach Access across from Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach. For more info, click here.
