Chef Josh Smith of Edward’s in Rosemary Beach has put together an incredible menu for New Year’s Eve 2019. The five-course menu features options for all palates. George’s at Alys Beach is currently taking reservations for a New Year’s Eve four-course dinner at the popular restaurant. There are four seatings that night, but they will book fast. The menu, created by Chef Camille Withall, features diverse first and second course options and main dishes including a seafood bowl, Wagyu filet, lamb rack and roasted half poulet. Your last meal of the year will be divine if you have it at George’s.

Kick the year off right with the South Walton Fire District‘s Polar Bear Plunge. Registration will be open On Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar. Come dressed in your best and qualify for a prize for best costume. Winners will be announced at the Shunk Gulley stage at 12:15 p.m. The plunge will start promptly at 1 p.m. at Ed Walline Regional Beach Access across from Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach.
