Your 30A Guide to Thanksgiving at the Beach

The Thanksgiving season is upon us and it’s time for gratitude, peace, reflection and celebration. If you’re looking for a huge meal that’s both traditional and tasty, you’re in luck. Many restaurants are open for Thanksgiving Day, inviting people in for delicious feasts to celebrate the holidays. Here is our round-up of how to spend Thanksgiving on 30A.

PRO TIP: Kick off the morning — and earn that extra slice of pumpkin pie — by running the 30A Thanksgiving Day 10K or Family Fun Run at Rosemary Beach. There’s still time to register for the races and to enrol as volunteers.

The Annual Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run is another reason to rise and shine. The course travels throughout WaterColor Resort, with a shorter run course for kids.

To Cook at Home

While the options below are primarily for eating out, if you’re looking to cook in, the friendly team at For the Health of It in Blue Mountain Beach is once again offering certified organic and free-range turkey, ready to roast and serve with their wide range of healthy, affordable produce. You can also pick up organic brussel sprouts and locally grown organic green beans. Yum! Several sizes are available but the supply is limited.
