The Thanksgiving season is upon us and it’s time for gratitude, peace, reflection, and celebration. If you’re looking for a huge meal that’s both traditional and tasty, you’re in luck. For the Health of It: While the options below are primarily for eating out if you’re looking to cook in, the friendly team at For the Health of It in Blue Mountain Beach is once again offering certified organic and free-range, non-GMO turkey, ready to roast and serve with their wide range of healthy, affordable produce. Modica Market: Another option to source your organic free-range turkeys for Thanksgiving! Modica Market is offering uncooked turkeys available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Call 850-231-1214 to order or stop by the store. That’s not all – you can also pick up side dishes, including cornbread dressing, corn souffle, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, squash casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry relish, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, and apple pie. Ham and tenderloin will also be available for purchase.
Fish Out of Water – FOOW: Enjoy a special Thanksgiving Brunch (8 a.m. – 2 p.m.) a Pumpkin Spiced Croffle, Shaved Turkey Rueben, Warm Sweet Potato Casserole, and Brown Buter Pecan Ice Cream between, and the Thanksgiving Feast from 4 PM to 9 PM, with roasted turkey breast, fried maple almond Brussels sprouts, green bean casserole, cornbread stuffing, candied yams, Boursin whipped potatoes, turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce. Scratch Biscuit Kitchen: For a Thanksgiving special this year, Scratch Biscuit Kitchen will offer Turkey Pot Pie (shredded braised turkey, diced root vegetables, garden peas, Scratch biscuit crust) and pumpkin latte cinnamon rolls.
Ovide: Feast like a king at Ovide, the restaurant by award-winning celebrity chef and 2-time James Beard nominee, Hugh Acheson, who is serving up a feast of roasted turkey, cornbread stuffing, savory gravy, Effie’s iconic homemade biscuits and much more. Down Island Gulf Seafood Restaurant: At Chef Janca’s Thanksgiving Dinner, you can enjoy a three-course meal with family and friends for $48. The festive dinner is all you need to get into the holiday spirit! Guests can order only the adult turkey plate by itself for $37. They will have a full kids menu or a kids turkey plate for $15. Soliel: Chef Michael Sichel of Soleil in Destin, Florida, will host a Thanksgiving Feast on November 24, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy a three-course traditional Thanksgiving dinner with family-style sides.
